Three head of cattle were killed. Seven trucks were thrown off the line and five men, named Russell, Ryan, Clifton, Owens and Smith, were killed instantaneously. The guard, named Corbett, who was on the first truck, was thrown several yards, the truck falling over him, but he escaped without a scratch, though men who were sitting on each side of him were killed.
